Mexican Mission Organization

Misael Sanchez is the son of Efrain an Naty Sanchez. He has just begun to work with a new church plant in El Milagro, Queretaro. The mission is seeking funds  to sponsor this work. We highly recommend Misael. Here is his letter telling about his plans for the work there:

      The community of "The Milagro (the miracle)" is situated 18 kilometers southwest of the city of Queretaro. It has a population of 2500 with 70% of them being young people, children, and young married people. The other 30% are adults up to 75 years of age. El Milagro is surrounded by at least 6 villages of the same social/cultural/numeric level.

     Thanks to God in 2010 we were able to start a cell group in this place with a Christian family, our brothers in Christ: Jose Antonio Barcenas and his wife Raquel Lara. They made their home available for Bible studies and to share the word of God. In just 5 months we have grown from 7 people to 25 who meet each week. Half of these people are youth and children. Thanks to what God has allowed us to achieve, we are motivated to continue preaching the gospel in this place to continue reaching more sould for Christ.

     Our vision has been to reach primarily the young people in El Milagro. We have planned some evangelistic and social activities for 2011. We are planning to begin with a concert in the streets where we share the gospel of Jesus and give real testimonies of young people who have been changed by the Lord. We have decided to start a ministry called: Christian Youth Center. This will be a place where people can find good things to do, blessings, companionship, and the word of God. It will be a place where young people will find support to continue forward, moral support, good habits, and the motivation to come close to God. Our goal will be to support the youth in social works, help with school work, workshops, fun games, and Christian counseling. Our goal is to not only reach the young people in El Milagro, but also the surrounding communities.
